All members receive a subscription to MTNA?s award-winning magazine, American Music Teacher. Your students will be able to participate in a variety of programs offered by KMTA. They will also be eligible for state and national performance and composition competitions. 

Kansas Music Teachers Association is dedicated to helping each student experience the joy of music. Through its educational programs and activities, this organization will empower its members - teachers with high professional standards - to foster in students a lifelong commitment to music as patrons, performers, teachers, and hobbyists.

KMTA will also work in partnership with communities across Kansas to insure that music is an ongoing, vital part of the cultural life.
